PPM Listeners Returning Post-COVID

According to a just-released Westwood One blog, Nielsen October PPM radio listening shows upward trending in many key demos. From September to October, listening has increased 6% for Persons 25-54, and AQH audiences are +35% since April in the same demo. The majority of October’s listening recovery occurred in mornings, M-F 6-10am, which is +11% versus September; PMD is +6% month-over-month. Additionally, 42 of 48 PPM markets have now retained 90% or more of March AQH listening levels with 15 markets meeting or exceeding March numbers. More here.
