Swift Masters Sold By Ithaca

Burbank-based Shamrock Holdings has acquired the master rights to Taylor Swift's six-album Big Machine catalog from Ithaca Holdings, which purchased Big Machine Label Group last year (Breaking News 6/30/19). The deal, reportedly worth $300 million, allows Ithaca to continue to share in proceeds, according to a post from Swift, who continues to object to Ithaca Holdings Chairman/Owner Scooter Braun's connection to her music. "I have recently begun re-recording my older music," Swift says via Twitter. "I have plenty of surprises in store." Shamrock is privately held by the estate of Roy E. Disney.
